Oh yes. HBO has recognised the awesomeness of Last year’s How To Make It In America’s mixtape and has released Vol 2 in readiness for Season 2. Vol I was curated by overseer Broke Mogul (who put the beats behind Entourage) with Kid Cudi and Green Lantern at the helm. For Vol 2 Broke has brought in DJ & mixtapista Mick Boogie. It’s fresh and pretty much the best ad for the show. Enjoy.

If you’re a mixtape lover, check out Press Record. I came across it via the Vestax Spin Facebook page and it’s just one man’s portal for getting all his mixtapes out. John Phillips only uses a Spin and his mixes are well worth a listen.

Right now I’m listening to House Broken but really he’s more of a hip-hop DJ. Check out Shades for some real classics.

They are playing Screamadelica around the UK in 2011 and announced today, at Bestival.
