Instead of waiting for someone to mashup their tracks with another artist, Damon Dash got The Black Keys along to a studio in Brooklyn where for 11 days, he invited hip hop luminaries such as Mos Def, Raekwon, RZA, Pharoah Monche and Q-Tip to come and jam with the duo. They’ve turned out an album and a number of webisodes of the process. Very nice.
